What is the current status of SimpleCart development?

After originally taking over SimpleCart from OostDesign in 2015, we've since released Commerce and SimpleCart is now in maintenance mode. That means we still offer support for it and will release bug- and security-fixes when needed, but will add no more new features to it. 

We no longer sell new licenses for SimpleCart and do not intend to make it open source. Only existing users will continue to get support.
